The 2004 season is our eleventh season of softball, making us one of the longer established clubs around. One or two members from that first season are even still playing regularly!
Last season saw mixed fortunes for the club, with the first team finishing more or less as we were - which all things considered wasn't a bad result - as we had lost a good few players before and during the season. The second team battled gamely, but was often hampered by a lack of personnel and ended the season by being relegated to the Senior division (since renamed Division 2).
This season sees both teams operating in the same divisions as last year thanks to teams folding. We would hope to consolidate in the case of the second team and make that push into the top four for the first team.
